American Auto-Matrix (AAM)
develops and manufactures a complete family of
microprocessor-based, applied, networkable controllers. AAM
products are used in a broad range of applications including
facilities management, building automation, temperature control,
direct digital control (DDC), process control, and integrated
fire, security, and life safety management. AAM was the first to
offer open architecture, generation-to-generation compatibility,
DDC, and object-oriented programming.
AAM’s products and systems are sold, installed, and maintained
worldwide through a network of more than 145 authorized Solution
Integrators. Product applications include direct digital
temperature, light process, fume hood, and laboratory control, as
well as energy, integrated fire, and security management. AAM
products feature direct digital control, open architecture,
generation-to-generation compatibility, distributed control, and
object-oriented programming. The international headquarters and
production facilities are located in suburban Pittsburgh.
